7:30PM – FNM. Standard format. Optional entry fee of $3.

12:00AM (Saturday) – Midnight Friday Dark Ascension Pre-release sealed deck tournament. Entry fee is $25. We will play a maximum of 4 rounds then award prizes.

Saturday January 28 2012

2:00PM – Dark Ascension Two-Headed Giant Sealed deck tournament. Entry fee is $40 per team of two. We will play a maximum of 4 rounds then award prizes.

6:00PM – Dark Ascension Pre-release sealed deck tournament. Entry fee is $25. We will play a maximum of 4 rounds then award prizes.

Wizards has allocated us enough product for 108 total players. Once we run out of product that will be it for the weekend. Each event will have 2 packs per player added to the prize pool for that event. Each individual event will have its’ prizes announced after it starts as the specific amount of packs will vary with the number of players in each event.

We will also be taking pre-orders for Dark Ascension booster boxes at the pre-release. The cost is not yet set but will likely be between $94 and $97 per box. We have a limited number of buy a box promos and they will be given out as people buy boxes. Pre-orders will guarantee you a buy a box promo.

Anyone who buys a box before February 11 2012 will be entered into a drawing. On February 11 at noon, we will randomly select one name from all the entries. The winner will be able to take 1 judge foil (any judge foil we have) in our counter as his or her prize. Each box you buy gets you an entry into the drawing. The Innistrad buy a box winner walked away with a judge foil Sword of Fire and Ice!

The Dark Ascension pre-release will be taking place at Brimstone Games in McGregor the last weekend of January (27th-29th). We have several events planned starting with our Midnight Pre-release at 12AM Saturday morning (midnight Friday).

We are very pleased to announce that level 3 judge John Alderfer has graciously accepted our invitation to come and hang out for the weekend and be part of our event. John is one of the most respected judge’s in North America having worked over 30 Grand Prixes, multiple Pro Tours and World Championships. John will be able to answer all the crazy rules questions you might have regarding everything from your commander deck to the combo that you want to play that no one else has discovered.

John is a long-time friend of ours as well as a long time outstanding judge in the magic community. He is both friendly and knowledgeable and hopefully will make your pre-release experience just a little bit more fun.

Friday 9:15PM - MTG FNM #2 - cost $3/$15

Saturday 10AM - 5PM - Warhammer/40k Open play cost - free

Saturday 6PM: Yugioh Advanced - cost $5

Sunday 1PM: Pokemon cost - free

Sunday 4PM: MTG Booster Draft/Sealed cost - $15+

The store is always available open/free play for all games provided there is not a scheduled event taking place.
